How to Make Your Own Household Cleaning Wipes

Why spend a fortune on store-bought cleaning wipes when you could make your own for free?

Using just a few household items, these DIY wipes can get the job done just as easily,

at a fraction of the cost.

Cut the Paper Towels

Place the roll of paper towels next to your chosen wipes container and mark where you need to cut.

Using a large serrated knife, cut the paper towels until you can pull the two pieces apart.

Use scissors to trim away the shredded edges. Place the paper towels inside the empty wipes container.

Pour the water, vinegar and liquid dish soap into one container and mix it until everything is properly combined.

(Pro tip: the scent will be quite strong, so if it's too overwhelming, you can add 15 drops of an essential oil of

your choice to make it a little more pleasant.) Pour the solution over the roll of paper towels, making sure to

cover every part.

Once the paper towels are completely saturated and no liquid is left in the container, pull the cardboard roll

out of the center. It should come apart in a spiral shape, pulling the end of the paper towels out with it.

Replace the container lid and pull the first towel out, hooking it in place.

Add some unique flair to the plain container by wrapping it in your chosen wrapping paper.

Secure with tape and tuck the top edges under the container lid to create a nice clean edge.
